Building Confidence, Teamwork & Healthy Communities Through Volleyball

Volleyball Program

The Maine Youth Empowerment Services Volleyball Program gives youth an exciting opportunity to stay active, build friendships, develop leadership skills, and learn the fundamentals of volleyball in a positive and supportive environment.

Participants will learn essential volleyball skills such as serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, positioning, and teamwork. The program emphasizes sportsmanship, communication, discipline, confidence, and respect while encouraging young people of all skill levels to participate and have fun.

Through practices, games, and team activities, youth will have the opportunity to develop both athletic abilities and important life skills. Our goal is to create an inclusive space where every participant feels welcomed, supported, and empowered to grow.

MYES believes that sports can be a powerful tool for youth development. Through volleyball, young people can build confidence, discover their strengths, create lasting friendships, and develop skills that extend far beyond the court.
