Building Confidence, Teamwork & Leadership Through Soccer
Soccer Program
The Maine Youth Empowerment Services Soccer Program provides youth with an exciting opportunity to stay active, develop athletic skills, build friendships, and grow in confidence within a positive and supportive team environment.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of soccer, including dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control, defending, positioning, and teamwork. The program promotes physical fitness, communication, discipline, leadership, sportsmanship, and respect while creating an inclusive environment where youth of all skill levels can participate and have fun.
Through practices, games, and team-building activities, youth will strengthen their soccer abilities while developing important life skills that can benefit them on and off the field.
MYES believes that soccer is more than a sportβit is an opportunity for youth to build confidence, develop leadership skills, create positive relationships, and discover their potential.
